Mi Gente could be titled "Tu Gente es Nuestra Gente" or "Your People are Our People" painted in honor of the people of Puerto Rico, our fellow citizens, who were devastated by two hurricanes, Maria and Irma, within a month. This painting reminds me of the beautiful colors that I saw there just a week before--the houses, the artwork, the flowers and the Caribbean. A warm and inviting place to visit, we look forward to its return to the beautiful place we know.
Susan Kayler is an abstract acrylic artist in Scottsdale, Arizona. "My thoughts are pictures; my paintings the words." I am a visual thinker.
